These price estimates are based on 103 survey responses. Depending on pre-order volume, these prices may fluctuate up or down. The cost of shipping is already included in this estimate.Zine Only = $18

We will add a slight profit margin to compensate our contributors with at minimum a physical copy of the zine book and a full bundle at most; this additional margin will be determined by interest volume. Any extra profits will be put towards offsetting international shipping first, then all shipping. In the event that there is still money left over from compensating all contributors with a free full bundle, shipping covered, we will offer partial refunds for the difference in cost.The primary shipping location will be based in California, USA, with Mod Ace but we have elected to use Group Order Hosts in order to conserve international shipping costs. These GO Hosts will be announced and linked to at a later date.Sales
All sales will take place on Bigcartel and Ko-fi. These accounts will be managed by Head Mod Refrigerator using zine-specific accounts, not personal ones.All sales are final. We will not refund or accept returns for any of our digital and hardcopy bundles UNLESS there are printing issues with the zine or damaged merch provided. You will need to provide proof that your bundle arrived in damaged condition through taking a video of you unboxing your package.The bundle tiers are as follows:
- Digital bundle: Zine PDF, Phone lockscreen + wallpaper, 4 icons
- Small bundle: zine, 2x print, 3x sticker
- Half bundle: zine, 2x keychain, 3x sticker, 2x print, 1x washi tape
- Full Bundle: zine, 1x standee, 1x phone grip, 1x washi tape, 2x keychain, 3x sticker, 2x print, 1x notepadThe Digital bundle had been listed on the Buyers Interest Form as a paid product with a set price, this has now been changed to a Donation option through our Ko-fi. As this is a P4P and digital copies do not cost anything to produce, we have removed it as an official bundle. Now, if you would like to donate to support giving all creators in the zine a free full bundle, you may do so using the Donation option. Ko-fi has a minimum donation of $3 USD, but you are welcome to donate as many as you like. However, we will not be sending the digital PDF files until all hardcopy pre-orders have shipped. This is to avoid reuploading and sharing of the digital zine before pre-orders are fulfilled. Likewise, all PDF versions of the zine will be in a reduced resolution and will contain watermarks so as to avoid reproduction of any sort.All hardcopy bundles will also receive the Digital bundle with no additional cost. These will be sent through emails after orders have shipped.We are not planning an after sale/merch a la carte option at this time. However, if we complete all pre-orders and contributor compensations with remaining merch or hardcopy zines in stock, we will consider holding giveaways! This will not be using money collected from the P4P.After all pre-orders have been shipped, we will allow contributors to post their illustrations and fanfics to online platforms. We will also be releasing the free PDF version of the zine 2-3 months after pre-orders have been shipped. Lowered resolution and watermarks will apply.

Q. What is high fantasy?
A. A genre of fantasy that you may be more familiar with than you think! Elves, dragons, wizards, half-human-half-monsters, angels and demons, vampires, and mermaids, just to name a few AUs. Xianxia also stems from this kind of genre with its qi and flying sword battles, but we are looking for something a little spicier to go along with it! Modern AUs can also be fantastical if you add some of the elements listed above, but technically anything grounded in our earth reality is considered a low fantasy.Q. Is canon setting OK?
A. Yes, as mentioned above, QianQiu has Xianxia elements in it, thus making it a fantasy. However, we want you to add an additional high fantasy element onto it such as: vampirism, beast transformation, godhood, etc.Q. Does the focus have to be about YanShen?
A. Not at all! You can write about any characters or ships, romantic or platonic! Crossovers with other novels and characters are accepted as well.Q. Are there limits to explicitness for NSFW submissions?
A. Let's keep away from the hardcore dead dove for now! But other than that, anything from PWP with tentacles to Yan Wushi bottoming is a go! If you have further questions for clarification, don't hesitate to shoot us an Ask on our Retrospect or DM!Q. How will contributors be compensated?
A. We will try to get a free hardcopy to all contributors at the very least, and a full bundle at most. All contributors will receive the Digital bundle for free.Q. Does P4P allow for contributor compensation? Isn't it covering production only?
A. We will be adding a small upcharge to all pricing to cover the cost of production, shipping to GO and primary shipping location, shipping to buyers, and compensating contributors. As the point of P4P is to make no money to pocket from any transactions, the additional funds from the upcharge will fully go to offsetting any and all production and shipping costs before being refunded to as many buyers as possible. Mods will not be pocketing any funds and contributors will not be monetarily compensated. Whether you agree that this is considered P4P or not, this is how we will be operating and you have every right to support or not support our zine.
